Ethics in business? Who da think?:-) Before
coming to the Internet world in 1998, I was fortunate to have
been taught a lot about ethics in business, and even spirituality in business, by my late father,
Percy J. Beneteau (1996). Since that first logon, I have been
blessed to have met and become great friends with many "spiritual"
entrepreneurs who have used their business ethics and spiritual
principles in the building of hugely successful businesses and as a
result, achieving the fame and fortune that most of us only dream
about.
This is exactly what this small site is about. So I extend my
personal invitation to you to stick around and become empowered,
or at least Bookmark (Ctrl D) this humble but beneficial resource,
for future reference.
Some will think that the concepts of spirituality, and,
business/money, are totally opposite, but . . .
. . . nothing could be further from the truth. I had, without even
really knowing or understanding, for the first 2 decades of owning
businesses, used my spirituality, which really translated into
business ethics, in how I treated my customers and my
employees, and, how I ultimately delivered my end product. This
totally, at-the-time, unorthodox, people-oriented approach always
resulted in business success after success for me.
Conversely, whenever I chose to NOT apply my spirituality and
business ethics, it always seemed to backfire on me - I would lose
credibility and as a result, money.
After the horror of September 11, 2001, which had a powerful
impact on me personally, I changed my Internet mission from that
of "helping people to build businesses online to that of just helping
to build people." After all, all the tips, tricks and tactics I had
learned how to apply could NOT, help people if people were not, at
the basic level, ready to apply them.
So, one of the products I decided to create was an eBook. The
premise was this: I would ask the most poignant questions of the
people I admired most for using their spirituality in business(and business
ethics) in their business practices, in order to receive powerful
answers so that any entrepreneur could apply them simply to
dramatically to improve not only the business bottom line, but the
fulfillment and enjoyment of doing business in a "spiritual way".
The result was the now infamous, "Success: A Spiritual Matter", an
eBook that NFL SuperBowl Champion, Drew Bledsoe, was more
than happy to lend his amazing wisdom to, and that Internet legend
Paul Meyers of TalkBiz.com fame, said "I have read probably 1000
books on the topics of business, spirituality, and motivation. Rick Beneteau's book, 'Success: A Spiritual Matter,' is the best I've seen
at addressing all these critical issues in one place."
Before you begin clicking on all the beneficial articles to your
left, please allow me to leave you with this single truth, which has been
proven not only in my business life, but those of the people you will
now hear from in this site: if you chose to use your simple
spirituality in your business and as a result apply business ethics
that are above reproach, you will soon be on the path worthy of
fame and fortune.
